About the job:
We are looking for an Account Manager with experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) sector to manage and develop business relationships with current and prospective clients. The mission of this role is to drive the adoption of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions, maximize customer value, and contribute to the company’s sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Identify new business opportunities within the AEC market and generate sales of BIM software and related services.
- Deeply understand clients’ technical and business needs to propose tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with presales, technical support, and marketing teams to ensure proper implementation and customer success.
- Negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and software license renewals.
- Keep the CRM system updated with accurate account, contact, and pipeline information.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and AEC conferences.
- Analyse the market and competition to provide strategic insights.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in account management or B2B sales, preferably in software or technology solutions for the AEC sector.
- Practical knowledge of BIM methodologies and their impact on design, construction, and operations projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Intermediate level of English (oral and written).
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or others).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in selling BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD, Navisworks, etc.).
- Established network of contacts within architecture firms, engineering companies, contractors, or developers.
- Knowledge of digital transformation, digital twin, and technological trends in the AEC sector.
