About The Role

This is a senior, high-autonomy role for someone who combines the rigor of top-tier strategy consulting with hands-on ownership of execution. You will sit at the center of the company, partnering directly with the COO and CEO to drive strategic priorities, run the executive cadence, and personally lead the company's most important cross-functional initiatives — from integrations and organizational transformation to process simplification and automation. This role requires someone who can operate with minimal oversight, translate ambiguity into structured action, and move seamlessly between boardroom-level strategy and the operational detail needed to make it real.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO and COO to define, track, and drive company-wide strategic priorities and initiatives
  • Own the cadence and content for executive team meetings — agendas, materials, follow-ups, and decision tracking
  • Oversee business performance and proactively identify areas where corrective action is needed; foster a success-oriented, accountable environment across the leadership team
  • Translate strategic decisions into concrete actions with clear owners, timelines, and accountability
  • Act as a proxy for the CEO and COO in select meetings and decisions, representing their priorities and judgment accurately
  • Work autonomously while ensuring CEO and COO expectations are consistently met and exceeded
  • Lead or oversee high-priority, cross-functional projects, including company integrations, organizational transformation, e-commerce expansion, ERP and CRM implementation, and process simplification and automation
  • Track execution progress of strategic initiatives, identifying risks early and driving resolution
  • Define and track OKRs in partnership with functional business leaders
  • Build dashboards and metrics that give leadership real-time visibility into project health and progress
  • Develop and continuously improve project management methodology, templates, and tooling
  • Demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting, or a Chief of Staff or senior PMO role, ideally with exposure to enterprise software or technology companies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs (integrations, transformations, systems implementations) from strategy through execution
  • Experience in the software/SaaS industry, ideally B2B or enterprise; AEC/CAD industry knowledge a plus
  • Direct experience with M&A integration, ERP/CRM implementations, or large-scale organizational restructuring
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving skills; comfortable operating with ambiguity and incomplete information
  • High judgment, discretion, and gravitas to act credibly as a proxy for senior executives
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; able to produce board- and executive-level materials independently
  • Strong bias to action and ownership mentality — comfortable operating with high autonomy and minimal supervision
  • Proficiency with project/program management tools (e.g., Jira) and executive reporting/dashboarding
