The Head of Channel and Partnerships is a senior leadership role responsible for designing, launching, and scaling a best-in-class indirect channel program for a high-growth software company. This leader will drive expansion into new markets, renew and revitalize channel operations in core geographies, and ensure the company’s partner ecosystem is a key engine for sustainable revenue growth and market leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Program Strategy and Execution

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve a world-class channel partner program that aligns with company objectives and delivers measurable value to partners and the business
  • Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics for the indirect channel program, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy
  • Develop and manage incentive structures, partner tiers, enablement resources, and marketing support to drive partner engagement and performance
  • Oversee partner recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement to ensure partners are equipped for success

Market Expansion

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new geographic and vertical markets for entry via channel partnerships
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for entering new markets, leveraging existing and new channel relationships to accelerate adoption and growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor channel approaches for new markets, ensuring cultural and operational fit

Channel Renewal and Revitalization

  • Assess the health and performance of the existing channel ecosystem in core geographies, identifying areas for renewal and revitalization
  • Implement strategies to re-engage, support, and grow underperforming or dormant partners
  • Foster deep, trust-based relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual value and long-term loyalty

Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and lead a high-performing channel and partnerships team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and results
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams to align channel strategies and drive seamless execution
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to enhance brand presence and partnership opportunities

Market Benchmarking & Program Optimization:

  • Continuously benchmark our channel programs against industry standards, identifying opportunities to improve and differentiate our partner offerings
  • Adjust and enhance our approach to capture greater partner mindshare and drive competitive advantage

Partner Engagement & Accountability:

  • Establish and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with all top partners, ensuring transparency, accountability, and a shared focus on mutual growth and results
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships that drive long-term success.

Standardization for Scalability:

  • Drive the standardization of processes and best practices across all brands within the Design segment, laying the foundation for sustainable, long-term growth and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial excellence, sales operations, or sales leadership within the software or technology sector.
  • Significant experience in channel management, partnership development, or go-to-market leadership roles, ideally within the software or technology sector
  • Proven track record of driving sales transformation, operational excellence, and revenue growth in a global environment.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Expertise in sales strategy, analytics, performance management, and sales technology.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, with a proven ability to optimize complex sales and partner ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing tiered channel programs and driving partner accountability
    • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with executive leadership in a dynamic, multi-brand environment
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a passion for developing high-performing teams and partnerships
    • Strong expertise in sales data management
    • Results-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a track record of delivering measurable business impact
    • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
