Aspart of the Nemetschek Group, ALLPLAN is a global provider of BIM design software for the AEC industy. We are looking to appoint a Chief Operations Officer who will work at both a strategic and tatical level for ALLPLAN and the Design Division of Nemetshek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic leader on the Design Leadership Team to ensure the Division’s business operations are efficient and optimal in support of the Division’s mission. Collaborate with the Division Officer to set and drive organizational vision and operational strategy.
- Oversee day-to-day customer operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness across all Brands and Functions in design division
- Lead process optimization initiatives like lean or six sigma, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Look for methods to improve quality, efficiency and productivity, reduce costs, increase profits, or improve control measures.
- Work collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of internal operations and service to Division brand customers.
- Monitor business performance using tracking software, prepare detailed updates and forecasts, and take corrective actions as needed. Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Division.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders
- Fosters a success oriented, accountable environment within the Division.
- Ensure end to end value chain works smoothly from product management to R&D to prod marketing, to marketing to sales
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved.
- Work autonomously while ensuring Division Officer expectations are readily met and exceeded.
- Work with corporate IT to implement consistent systems across design division and ensure that data / insights can be collated easily
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience as COO or similar executive role in a software engineering or SaaS environment
- Deep understanding of SaaS/ ARR business models, customer lifecycle, and operational efficiency
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
