This role reports to the Global Head of People Services and plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of HR Services delivery across multiple countries, moving from brand-centric support to a truly regionally focused service model.
You will lead a team of approximately 15 HR Professionals, ensure seamless collaboration with local business and HR stakeholders, and drive operational excellence, harmonisation, and service efficiency across all HR processes. This role also partners closely with the other two regional People Service Directors to ensure alignment and consistency across the global People Service organisation.

- Take ownership for day‑to‑day People Services delivery in the region, with depth in Germany, ensuring high‑quality, compliant and scalable HR operations.
- Drive the harmonisation and standardisation of contracts, templates, employee communications and core HR processes across multiple European countries.
- Play a key role in our SAP SuccessFactors roll‑out, helping to design and implement end‑to‑end HR processes, in alignment with People Services, HRBP's and HR Centres of Expertise (CoE's)
- Shape and continually refine roles, responsibilities and interfaces with HRBPs and CoEs, rather than simply operating an existing shared‑services model.
- Lead the team through ongoing organisational change, providing clarity, stability and transparent communication
- Build strong relationships with HR, Transformation and AI colleagues as well as local business leaders, acting as a trusted partner for all People Services topics in the region.
- Champion smart use of HR technology and AI in People Services, identifying opportunities to automate, simplify and enhance the employee and manager experience.
Key Skills:
- Significant HR experience across the full employee lifecycle. especially in the operational / administrative part (hire to retire).
- Proven leadership experience with European or international HR teams, ideally in matrixed, multi-brand, multi-country environments.
- Strong knowledge of German employment and social law (Arbeits- und Sozialrecht).
- Experience with HRIS, especially SAP SuccessFactors (implementation, optimisation, ESS/MSS).
- History of leading change management efforts and supporting people process transformations.
- Proven experience in the digitalisation, automation, and harmonisation of HR processes, combined with a strong IT affinity.
- Excellent communication skills with broad experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent German and English required, additional languages an advantage.
Personal & Leadership Competencies:
- Demonstrated people leadership and development skills; inspiring, supportive and accountable.
- Team player with collaborative mindset and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Practical, results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in a matrix organization, complex business environments, balancing local/regional priorities with global standards.
