The Director, Sales and Operations, Singapore, will lead and manage the country’s sales and operational functions across the Nemetschek brand portfolio. This executive role is responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and market expansion in Singapore, ensuring alignment with global objectives while adapting to local market dynamics. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in enterprise software sales, operational leadership, and cross-functional team management within a fast-paced, multinational environment. The Director will also assume a Representative Director responsibility in the Graphisoft Asia - Singapore operation.
Role Overview
The Director of Sales and Operations is the central operational engine for Nemetschek Southeast Asia. Operating as a completely neutral, non-quota-carrying executive, this role is critical in orchestrating a frictionless go-to-market execution across a highly matrixed environment encompassing Direct Sales (Design), Direct Sales (Build), Partner Sales, and Customer Success.
This leader will act as the objective arbiter of the region’s Deal Desk, enforcing new Rules of Engagement to ensure clear demarcation and synergy between direct enterprise hunting and the reseller channel. Furthermore, this role will spearhead the modernization of the region's sales analytics, implementing AI-driven workflows and rigorous data governance to manage complex, cross-divisional commission structures
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Desk & Rules of Engagement Enforcement
- Act as the ultimate, objective authority on the regional Deal Desk, managing account stratification and strictly enforcing the established boundaries between Direct and Partner sales motions.
- Resolve channel-conflict scenarios smoothly and decisively, ensuring fair revenue recognition, protecting partner margins where appropriate, and maintaining zero disruption to the client experience.
- Audit and approve hybrid (co-sell) enterprise deals, ensuring professional services and software licenses are appropriately routed.
- Commission Governance & Cross-Divisional KPIs
- Administer, track, and optimize regional commission structures, ensuring all financial incentives directly drive the desired cross-collaboration between Design, Build, and Partner divisions.
- Design and maintain transparent tracking dashboards for cross-pollination KPIs, ensuring sales directors have real-time visibility into shared revenue targets.
- Partner closely with central corporate functions (Finance, HR, Legal) to ensure regional compensation plans comply with global governance standards.
- Advanced Pipeline Analytics & AI Integration
- Transform the region’s forecasting from subjective estimation to a rigorous, data-driven methodology based on verifiable CRM audit trails.
- Lead the adoption and integration of Generative AI and advanced automation tools to streamline CRM hygiene, generate predictive analytics, and build automated executive reporting workflows.
- Evaluate large, complex market datasets to spot trends, map territories, and deliver actionable insights for strategic resource allocation.
- Strategic Enablement & Change Management
- Ensure absolute uniformity in the Go-to-Market (GTM) execution across all regional divisions, deploying playbooks that eliminate operational silos.
- Manage the onboarding, localized collateral distribution, and operational training for both internal sales teams and the external partner network.
- Identify bottlenecks within the sales cycle and re-engineer core business workflows to accelerate time-to-revenue and improve overall cross-functional productivity.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 8+ years of senior leadership experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Commercial Strategy within complex, multi-market B2B environments.
- Industry Background: Experience in AEC technology is highly advantageous but not strictly required; candidates with strong operational backgrounds in SaaS, FinTech, or other highly matrixed digital ecosystems will be strongly considered.
- Matrix Management & Conflict Resolution: Proven track record of managing hybrid go-to-market motions and acting as a diplomatic but authoritative bridge between competing commercial divisions and external channel networks.
- Quantitative Rigor: Exceptional analytical skills with hands-on experience designing and auditing complex incentive structures, split-commission tracking, and cross-divisional revenue metrics.
- Technological Fluency: Advanced expertise in modern CRM ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI). Certified or demonstrable capability in deploying AI-assisted tools for workflow automation and data modeling is a major plus.
- Executive Presence: High emotional intelligence; capable of acting as a neutral referee between highly driven sales directors while maintaining strategic alignment with regional and global executive leadership.
