As a Senior Manager Employee & Labor Relations (f/m/d) based out of our HQ in Munich, you will be a key point of contact for the European Works Council and for the newly emerging Nemetschek SE Works Council in Germany. You will also participate to global projects spanning local works councils. You will help launch a professional Employee & Labor Relations environment for Nemetschek in which management, HR and employee representatives work together as equals with a modern approach to co-determination.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the partnership with the European Works Council and the new Nemetschek SE works council and coordinate related global projects.
- Act as central coordination point, preparing committee work and decision templates.
- Lead negotiations with employee representative bodies, manage escalations professionally, and ensure that disputed matters are structured and prepared for decisions at C-level and board level.
- Develop works agreements and frameworks with the local and European works council and manage their implementation across functions, including clear responsibilities, timelines and communication channels.
- Advise management, HR and leaders on co‑determination issues, from basic classification to the design and implementation of concrete measures; ensure that labor law and co‑determination requirements are implemented compliantly.
- Support co‑determination‑relevant projects (e.g. policies, benefits, working time models, global programs, CoE initiatives, organization, IT, infrastructure).
- Build a future‑oriented Employee & Labor Relations framework with standards, processes, templates and guidelines.
Your Profile
- University degree in Law, Business Administration, Human Resources, or Social Sciences, preferably with a focus on Labor Law or Industrial Relations.
- Extensive professional experience in the field of Employee and Labor Relations, ideally in a complex corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of German labor and works constitution law; ideally knowledge of European labor law.
- Track record of successfully establishing trust-based partnerships with works councils or other employee representatives and in negotiating and drafting works agreements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills at all hierarchy levels.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, implementation‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with full professional fluency in both German and English.
