Senior Accountant GL (w/m/d)

Currently, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (f/m/d) to join Nemetschek’s German accounting team in Munich, Germany. In this role, you will be the accounting expert concerning general ledger, VAT and fixed assets accounting. Working model: hybrid (2 days at the office), 39 hours / week

Responsibilities:

• Handling the day-to-day operations of accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting 
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB for Nemetschek SE and subsidiaries 
• Managing payment transactions and intercompany reconciliations 
• Close collaboration with international subsidiaries and the central Finance & Accounting team of the Nemetschek Group 
• Acting as a contact person for auditors and tax advisors 
• Participation in projects, process optimization, and digitalization initiatives 

Requirements: 

• Completed education/qualification as an accountant 
• Senior-level professional experience in accounting and financial statement security according to IFRS and HGB 
• Knowledge of European VAT law and international tax law
• Basic understanding of income tax
• Experience in using MS Office and Excel, experience with NetSuite or D365 is an advantage  
• Sound knowledge of written and spoken German and English (C1)
• Independent, structured, reliable and service-orientated working style
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment characterized by rapid transformation
