What will your responsibilities look like?

  • Management and coordination of the Service Desk team to ensure smooth IT operations.
  • Developing and implementing IT strategies to continuously improve IT services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize IT services and increase user satisfaction.
  • Handling and resolving user issues and escalations to ensure a high quality of service.
  • Continuous improvement of Service Desk processes and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Managing and coordinating support requests via a ticket system.
  • Supporting employees worldwide with hardware and system problems.
  • Escalation management in the event of SLA violations.
  • Working in a very international environment with global teams and users.

 

 

What do we expect from you?

  • Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a managerial position in the IT field, ideally in service desk or IT support.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of IT systems and technologies.
  • Ability to analyze and recommend solutions to improve IT services.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with users and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL based service support processes.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.
