Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the Group-wide AI product strategy, vision, and multi-year roadmap aligned with Nemetschek's ambition to become an AI-first AECO software leader.
- Identify transformative AI opportunities across all brands (Bluebeam, Graphisoft, Vectorworks, Allplan, etc.) through market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insights.
- Drive strategic alignment across brand CEOs, CPOs, and GTM leaders to prioritise horizontal AI capabilities versus brand-specific innovations.
- Establish AI product principles, design patterns, and capability frameworks that guide brands toward cohesive AI experiences while respecting brand autonomy.
- Lead strategic discovery initiatives with external partners, research institutions, and technology providers to evaluate emerging AI paradigms (foundation models, agents, simulation, generative design).
- Define business cases, investment theses, and portfolio prioritisation frameworks for AI product investments, and present recommendations to Group Executive Board.
- Shape AI go-to-market strategy across brands, including positioning, packaging, pricing models (consumption, per-seat, freemium), and customer segmentation.
- Support strategic partnerships and ecosystem development with hyperscalers (Microsoft, Google, AWS), AI platform vendors, and industry consortia.
- Monitor AI product performance across brands via unified metrics (adoption, engagement, NPS, ARR contribution); identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Champion responsible AI governance across products, working with Legal, Ethics, and brand teams to establish policies for safety, bias, transparency, and compliance
- Position Nemetschek as thought leader in AI for AECO through external visibility and partnerships.
Professional knowledge and experience:
- 8+ years in Product Management with 3+ years in AI/ML product strategy or leadership roles.
- Proven track record defining and executing multi-product AI strategies in B2B or enterprise software environments.
- Deep understanding of AI/ML landscape: foundation models, generative AI, AI agents, MLOps, and emerging paradigms.
- Demonstrated success driving strategic alignment across multiple business units, brands, or P&Ls.
- Strategic thinking capabilities: market analysis, business case development, portfolio management, competitive intelligence.
- Experience with AI product commercialisation: pricing strategy, packaging, consumption models, and customer segmentation.
- Experience in AECO industry or adjacent verticals (CAD, PLM, BIM, construction tech) desirable
Other Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional strategic communication and executive presence; able to influence C-level stakeholders and board members.
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical capabilities into market opportunities and financial outcomes.
- Thought leadership capabilities; comfort presenting at industry conferences, publishing insights, and engaging with press/analysts.
- Systems thinking and ability to balance brand autonomy with Group leverage and synergies.
- Deep curiosity about AI advancements and ability to translate research into practical product opportunities.
- Languages: English fluency required; German highly preferred
