The Director of Strategic Pricing is an innovative and results-oriented leader responsible for developing and executing world-class pricing, packaging, positioning, and cross-selling strategies across Nemetschek Group's Design Division, encompassing brands such as ALLPLAN, Graphisoft, Vectorworks, Risa, dTwin, Solibri, and dRofus. This highly visible role ensures the division's products are optimally priced and positioned for market success, revenue growth, and long-term customer value, while fostering cross-brand synergies. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to Division and Group leadership, shaping Nemetschek’s long-term monetization strategy and supporting the company’s transition toward SaaS and value-based commercial models. 

  • Lead the development and execution of global pricing strategies across brands and product lines to accelerate growth, capture market share, and enhance profitability across the Nemetschek Group. 

  • Architect and implement comprehensive pricing, packaging, and positioning frameworks across all Design Division brands, ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities and Go-To-Market (GTM) objectives. 

  • Partner closely with product, sales, finance, and marketing leaders to align pricing and packaging decisions with customer insights, competitive dynamics, and product value propositions. 

  • Lead advanced market, competitor, and customer willingness-to-pay analyses to establish optimized price points, segmentation, and tiering structures that support sustainable value realization. 

  • Oversee financial modelling, scenario planning, and elasticity studies to assess the impact of pricing actions; manage governance of pricing changes, escalations, and exceptions for major deals. 

  • Define and track key pricing KPIs—including price realization, margin improvement, and recurring revenue growth—to measure impact and guide strategic decisions. 

  • Act as the business stakeholder for CPQ, pricing, and analytics tools, ensuring successful integration with forecasting and CRM systems to support scalable pricing execution. 

  • Build and lead a high-performing pricing team while fostering collaboration with brand, product, and finance leadership across the Group. 

  • Communicate complex pricing insights and value strategies clearly and persuasively to executive leadership and cross-functional teams to influence key strategic outcomes. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred but not required. 

  • 8–12 years of senior level pricing experience in technology B2B software, SaaS, or platform business, ideally in a multi-brand, global environment. 

  • Demonstrated success developing and optimizing product pricing and packaging strategies for enterprise or professional software solutions. 

  • Previous consulting work, navigating complex organizational structures and change management is a plus. 

  • Advanced skills in financial modelling, analytics, and data-driven decision making; experience in pricing tools and technologies is a plus. 

  • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional, international teams in matrixed organizations. 

  • Experience with pricing software such as CPQ, ERP, BI Tools, and pricing optimization software. 

  • Strong knowledge of value selling, competitive pricing techniques, and packaging models tailored to diverse segments and regions. 

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder alignment skills.
