The Opportunity:

We're looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing APAC team and help customers discover how Bluebeam transforms the way they design, build and collaborate. In this role, you'll partner with our sales teams to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions, and deliver compelling product demonstrations that move opportunities forward.

You'll be the go-to expert on Bluebeam's products and services, giving customers the confidence that our technology will solve their problems and help them achieve their desired outcomes.

This is a hybrid (Mon/Wed/Fri) role based out of our Brisbane office, with travel to customer meetings, onsite visits, and industry events as needed.

What you'll do:

  • Lead discovery calls to understand each customer's current workflows, pain points, and ideal future state
  • Translate business and technical requirements into tailored Bluebeam solutions that clearly demonstrate value
  • Deliver high-impact pre-sales demonstrations of Bluebeam products and services, both in person and via video conference, to audiences ranging from small teams to groups of up to 300
  • Answer in-depth technical and functional questions about our solutions throughout the sales cycle
  • Identify and scope opportunities for training and professional services that drive adoption and customer success
  • Provide post-sale onboarding and training to ensure customers quickly realize value from their investment
  • Stay current on all Bluebeam products and services, competitive offerings, and AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operator) industry trends
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and marketing teams to share market feedback and help refine our go-to-market approach
  • Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted technical advisor

Required Experience:

  • 2-3 years in a technical sales, sales engineering, solution consulting, or customer-facing technical role
  • Strong ability to learn and master new software applications quickly
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence presenting to small and large groups both in person and online
  • Proven ability to build and deliver professional, persuasive software demonstrations
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Comfortable with c30% travel to customer meetings and events

Preferred Skills:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of industry certifications and relevant experience
  • Experience as a Bluebeam user or in selling Bluebeam solutions
  • Background in design and construction technology or related AECO software
  • Experience working in the AEC/O industry
