We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team!

 

About the Role 

 

  • Build out new applications and features for new market verticals.
  • Perform all task types (architecture, coding, research, and decision) on known and unknown technologies and projects, features, platforms in a way that quickly, efficiently, and effectively arrives at a solution which correctly balances optimal results with timely results according to the needs of the project.
  • Mentor and supervise the work of less senior developers working on his/her project to enable them to effectively arrive at solutions which correctly balances optimal results with timely results according to the needs of the project.
  • Ramp up on new complex problems and code bases to the point of significant project contribution very fast.
  • Be the go-to expert for complex areas of our systems.
  • Have a deep understanding of the technology used to develop our products.
  • Expertly work with and help any team they are on to more effectively work with Product Management and other stakeholders to refine loosely defined requirements into robust demonstrable applications.
  • Partner with business and technology team members, to understand requirements and translate them into value-add technology solutions.

 

About You 

 

  • Development experience in Golang.
  • A solid grasp of database fundamentals and best practices (ideally experience with SQL, NoSQL and full-text search).
  • Experience designing, creating high-quality microservices.
  • Leading a team to deliver cloud native applications to market using Amazon AWS (like EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda).
  • Experience with workflow engines, state machines, BPMN & RPA automation.
  • Experience working in a fully automated CI/CD environment, including Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration.
  • Willingness to learn and expand skills and repertoire.
  • A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
  • Experience mentoring other team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Has a deep understanding of the technology used to develop our products.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $150,000 – $205,000
