The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst partners with Operations and Strategic level teams to drive insights and analysis, standardize reporting, and optimize processes as they pertain to the overall customer lifecycle. The Senior BIA defines metrics, builds BI reports, analyzes data, enhances forecasting models, and makes high-value recommendations to business leaders. This role serves and works cross-functionally with the Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and People teams. This role is a key contributor to Bluebeam's migration to a modern lakehouse architecture on Databricks and is expected to help define best practices for analytics delivery within that platform.

 

About the Role:

  • Researches, shadows, and interviews Operational teams to understand business needs and processes
  • Works with business system owners to understand the flow of data in systems
  • Defines enterprise metrics and dimensions to describe underlying data
  • Defines and builds necessary data models to create or enhance BI reporting, including the Balanced Scorecard
  • Collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data from the Enterprise perspective using advanced methods
  • Develops, optimizes, and automates multiple enterprise forecast models, including but not limited to, Churn and Customer Delight
  • Solves problems while aligning with Operations teams to solve/implement processes that enable teams to achieve their goals
  • Suggests solutions to processes to drive more efficiency and scalability
  • Reviews data to ensure high integrity
  • Builds and maintains analytics pipelines and data assets within Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, SQL Warehouses) to support enterprise reporting
  • Partners with Data Engineering on lakehouse data model design and contributes to the shared semantic layer

Software and Tools Experience:

  • BI tool proficiency, especially Power BI and/or Databricks AI/BI (Genie, Dashboards)]
  • Databricks (Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, SQL Warehouses, Notebooks) — Required
  • Python or PySpark for data transformation and analytical workflows — Required
  • Databricks Certified Data Analyst or Data Engineer Associate — Preferred
  • Salesforce – Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Dat Cloud — Preferred
  • ERPs (like NetSuite, SAP, Dyanmics)
  • Statistics and machine learning

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base Pay Range: $108,900 - $136,000 + Annual bonus
