We’re hiring a Sr. Accountant that supports the Accounting Manager by performing accounting duties of a difficult and responsible nature by researching, communicating, and resolving accounting and compliance issues and discrepancies to ensure quality reporting. The ideal person for this position is agile and process driven, building and improving upon existing accounting processes within a dynamic and rapidly growing company.

 

About the Role:

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting for multiple subsidiaries in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Manage a four-day month-end close process, including:
    • Preparing journal entries (accruals, prepaid expenses, revenue recognition)
    • Performing bank and account reconciliations
    • Maintaining deferred revenue schedules
    • Handling foreign currency revaluation
    • Uploading data to the internal consolidation system
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies across systems, entities, and currencies; provide clear, actionable summaries to management.
  • Research and address U.S. and international compliance matters (e.g., GST, audits, tax filings, registration renewals); prepare monthly sales tax returns.
  • Maintain and update the fixed assets module and IFRS 16 lease schedules.
  • Contribute to audits, system implementations, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Organize and maintain cloud-based financial documentation and support files.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

 

About You:

  • 8+ years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong understanding of accounting principles and business practices
  • Proven experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
  • Proficiency in accounting software; NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and IF formulas
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to understand broader business impacts
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
  • CPA and/or Master’s degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • Experience with Coupa and OneStream (preferred)

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Salary Range: $91,600 - $115,000 + annual bonus percentage
