Software Engineer (Go/AWS)

We are looking for an Software Engineer to join our Cloud Systems team!

About the Role 

• Participate in software design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Perform system troubleshooting to ensure high availability of platform services and resolve issues.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, sprint refinement, and sprint retro meetings
• Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional team members (Product Managers, QE, DevOps).
• Maintain excellent documentation. 
• Provide regular status updates to team members and leadership.

About You 

• Strong experience as a Backend Engineer with data structures/algorithms.
• Significant experience building high-performing/dataintensive applications running in the Cloud.
• Development experience in Golang.
• Amazon AWS experience (Serverless, Lambda, EC2, S3).
• Experience implementing and Using APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture.
• Experience implementing microservices and delivering to market.
• Experience with relational databases, writing Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
• Willingness to learn and expand skills and repertoire.
• A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
• Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, or similar data platforms including architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, and integrations.
• Experience designing and building data lakes and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and performance.
• Proficiency with developing and managing ETL pipelines, using modern tools and techniques to transform, load, and integrate data efficiently.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $110,000 – $150,000
