The Sr. Software Engineer plays a critical role in the impact Bluebeam’s tools have on industry advancement, efficiency, and sustainability. As part of the Product Engineering team that is responsible for developing scalable, performant & reliable platform services, the Engineer IV will help design and implement cloud-based solutions to power Bluebeam’s vision of a connected future, while gaining exposure to a wide array of technologies such as AWS, Identity Systems, Public API, Storage, Email delivery, and Localization.
About the Role:
- Participate in software design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Perform system troubleshooting to ensure high availability of platform services and resolve issues.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide among available technologies.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, sprint refinement, and sprint retro meetings.
- Document design and code.
- Provide status updates regularly.
- Train and mentors entry-level software engineers.
About You:
- Senior-level experience as a Backend Engineer building high-performing/data-intensive applications running in the cloud.
- Development experience in Go Programming Language (GoLang)
- Amazon AWS experience (EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, ELB, Lambda)
- Experience implementing and Using APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
- Experience implementing microservices and delivering to market.
- Experience with both relational & NoSQL databases, writing Stored Procedures, Functions etc.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB/DocumentDB/MongoDB.
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment, and related tools/pipelines/processes.
- Experience with terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Experience deploying services in containers and using container orchestration.
- Willingness to learn and expand skills and repertoire
- A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven, and organized.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Customer IAM (Identity Access Management) including Single Sign On (SAML & OIDC) and SCIM.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Additionally, Bluebeam provides best in class benefits, with 100% employee covered health and welfare benefits and paid time off. Bluebeam is a growing company with many opportunities. The base pay range for this position is: $129,000-$177,850.
