The Senior Global Compensation Expert is a senior expert within the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (COE) of the Nemetschek Group, responsible for the design and delivery of global compensation programs. This role is a key driver in building a unified, competitive, and future-ready compensation framework, enabling Nemetschek Group to attract, motivate, and retain top talent across all brands and geographies. 

 

This position will participate in establishing strategic compensation plans and objectives and contribute to development of Total Reward policies. Interacts with employees, senior management, and executives. 

 

About the Role: 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement global solutions: 
    • Design and deploy global job architecture and grading systems. 
    • Develop and maintain global pay ranges and pay structures. 
    • Establish and manage the annual merit increase process, including principles and guidelines. 
    • Design and oversee non-sales variable compensation structures, principles, and processes.  

 

  • Contribute to Strategic Initiatives: 
    • Contribute to the establishment of the Total Rewards strategy 
    • Support the implementation of pay transparency initiatives. 
    • Contribute to salary benchmarking projects to ensure market competitiveness. 

 

  • Operate and Manage Core Processes: 
    • Manage job evaluation and grading processes. 
    • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis. 
    • Review and update pay ranges and pay structures, ensuring alignment with market trends and internal equity. 
    • Define and maintain annual merit increase principles and policies. 
    • Manage compensation processes for non-sales variable compensation (including structures, principles, processes, calculations, and communications). 
    • Ensure standard work processes are implemented, continually evolve, and meet quality standards. 
    • Ensure pay transparency requirements are met across the Nemetschek Group. 

 

  • Collaboration & Expertise: 
    • Act as a subject matter expert on global compensation, providing guidance to HR, Finance, and business leaders across all brands and countries. 
    • Partner with the People Team and company leaders on Total Rewards related matters. 
    • Educate both People team and Business Leaders on the Total Rewards programs. 
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. 
    • Support cross-functional and cross-brand projects as required. 

 

About You: 

  • ​​Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in global compensation 
  • ​Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing compensation frameworks and principles across multiple countries and legal entities. 
  • ​Deep knowledge of job evaluation process and pay equity requirements​ 
  • ​​Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field 
  • ​Relevant certifications for global mobility 
  • ​​Strong collaboration skills, with a track record of partnering with global and regional stakeholders to drive strategy and execution. 
  • ​Enjoys solving complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles may not fully apply.  
  • ​Can translate business strategy into Total Reward action plans. 
  • ​Analytical and data-driven approach, with experience in market benchmarking and program evaluation. 
  • ​Excellent communication and project management skills, able to manage complex initiatives across diverse stakeholders​

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base Pay Range: $108,900- $136,000 + Annual bonus
