The Senior Event Specialist acts as the primary project manager for face-to-face events on the Demand Generation team, executing individual tasks and special projects as assigned and providing strategic direction for new and growing initiatives. The goal is to deliver on the company objectives through exceptional event experiences that drive revenue and brand loyalty.

 

About the Role: 

  • Provide general project management for multiple special programs throughout the year, including heavily supporting our annual Industry conference and numerous special events across departments as assigned.

  • Research, pitch, and implement Bluebeam’s presence and activities at high-profile industry conferences, internal user conferences, tradeshows, and other events as assigned.

  • Serve as on-site lead for program execution (for example: registration management, booth management)

  • Create documents and forms for project management, including timelines, inventory checklists, and itineraries, etc.

  • Manage event technology, including event registration data and pre and post-event reporting/surveys.

  • Manage speakers and speaker selection for multiple external events (attending and hosted).

  • Manage event budgets and spends

About You: 

  • Working knowledge of events-specific software (Cvent Event Management, Passkey, Inquisium)

  • 3- 4 years of experience working with seminars and/or large user events or conferences.

  • 3-4 years of experience managing event budgets and spends

  • Strong analytical skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Embodies a collaborative nature 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interface with all levels of management is essential

  • Great listening skills 

  • Plans, organizes, schedules and budgets in an efficient, productive manner

  • Demonstrates tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done

  • Actively and preemptively seeks out solutions to potential challenges

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $89,000 - $111,200
