About the Role: 

The Senior Accountant supports the Accounting Manager by performing complex and high-responsibility accounting tasks. This role involves researching, communicating, and resolving accounting and compliance issues to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is agile and process-oriented, continuously enhancing accounting procedures within a dynamic and rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high-quality financial reporting across multiple subsidiaries, emphasizing completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Support Finance team functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Contribute to a four-day month-end close process by:
    • Preparing deferred revenue schedules
    • Recording accrual journal entries for AP and expense reports
    • Performing bank reconciliations
    • Posting prepaid expense amortization entries
    • Preparing account reconciliations and foreign currency revaluations
    • Recording revenue recognition journal entries
    • Importing data into the internal consolidation system
  • Analyze and interpret discrepancies across systems, entities, and currencies; summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Research and document solutions for U.S. and international compliance matters, including GST, audits, registration renewals, and monthly sales tax filings.
  • Maintain the fixed assets module and IFRS 16 lease schedules.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects, audits, and system implementations.
  • Organize and maintain cloud-based documentation in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

 

About You: 

  • Senior-level experience in hands-on accounting and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and business practices 
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Intermediate/Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, and IF formulas
  • Critical thinking and attention to details with a big-picture mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Bonus Points:
    • CPA and/or Master’s degree in Accounting
    • Experience with Coupa
    • Experience with OneStream

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base salary range for this position is $91,600 - $114,500
