The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting department functions to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. The Accounting Manager generally has several direct reports and works to allocate tasks evenly across the team. this role is responsible for driving team performance and getting the most out of individual contributors.
About the Role:
- Oversee the accounting department's daily activities and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Daily activities include, but not limited to: Accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reports, sales tax and income tax compliance, general ledger review, fixed assets, cash forecast, banking activities, accounts reconciliation, cash application, AR collection, AP payment, prepaid amortization, revenue recognition, closing checklist, maintain COA, month end accruals.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements.
- Provide timely and accurate financial data to Nemetschek.
- Coordinate and complete audits.
- Provide supporting documents to auditor and tax advisor’s PBC list.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Safeguard financial and legal documentation.
- Hire, train and motivate accounting staff while supervising and delegating department tasks.
- Ensure compliance in accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Provide assistance and guidance to the subsidiary’s accounting team.
About You:
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
- Practice experience in IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
- Experience assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business
- Skills in evaluating, developing, and improving internal controls, systems, and procedures increase accuracy and efficiency
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to direct and supervise
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time and resources management skills
- 5+ years in the accounting field
- 2+ years in a mid-management role
- CPA or master’s degree in accounting

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base Pay Range: $91,600 - $114,500 + Annual bonus
