The Group Product Manager, Client Applications and Innovations is responsible for driving the evolution of Bluebeam’s product portfolio by leveraging BIM and 3D project data to enhance collaboration, optimize workflows, and improve data interoperability. It bridges technical capabilities with user needs, ensuring solutions meet the demands of the AEC industry. The role also sets the strategic direction for Bluebeam’s client applications, aligning the team to deliver a unified vision.

 

About the Role

  • Conducting market research, gathering customer requirements, and working closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that address the unique challenges faced by AEC professionals.
  • Collaborates closely with technology, product, sales, and marketing teams to provide clear product direction required to meet market needs.
  • Works cross functionally to represent the various stakeholder groups inside and outside of the company to build technical and business requirements that allows us to deliver solutions to market
  • Defines and helps deliver the go-to-market (e.g., training, industry discussions, partner and customer presentations) elements required to roll out new features and functionality
  • Monitors industry and competitive trends to inform and adjust product direction where appropriate
  • Collaborates closely with technology teams to provide clear direction on
    Agile product backlog, epic and user stories, and feature delivery
  • Works with other Product Managers to understands core product needs and cross-functional business-level services, and then clearly defines and refines  product backlog items in terms of product, business, and customer/partner value, and articulates the vision and goal for prioritizing those features.
  • Prioritizes competing requirements including features, bugs, and tech debt continually working with the scrum team to refine and add detail where needed
  • Identifies improvements to existing product processes; develops a strong understanding of processes and technology
  • Synthesize and communicate at the executive-level roadmaps and strategic priorities

Education & Experience:

  • Multiple years of experience as a Product Manager defining and delivering B2B SaaS products to new markets, preferably from within organizations addressing needs of the design, VDC and construction project collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, information systems, or related field of product study preferred
  • Ability to define and align a product vision with multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work directly with customers including end users, purchasing departments and executive teams.
  • Ability to conduct customer interviews and lead discovery initiatives.
  • Ability to synthesize and distill feedback from a variety of internal and external sources to produce clear narratives and recommendations for an actionable path forward.
  • Ability to work within a team of product managers to strategically align planning and execution across multiple products with an overall business strategy
  • Ability to communicate concepts and details across wide range of audiences
  • Ability to work within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Ability to curate a product strategy and roadmap for both existing and new products and features
  • Ability to present to stakeholders with professional maturity and clarity
  • Ability to build and offer authentic trust
  • Ability to define and set goals with assigned team members
  • Ability to cast a vision and drive execution of a cross-platform collaborative feature set.

  • Thoroughly understand BIM, VDC, Collaboration standards and processes
  • Deeps understanding of construction and design practices

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $153,800 - $211,400
