About the Role: 

The Data Scientist partners with Operations and Strategic level teams to perform detailed analyses and automate decision-making processes as it pertains to the overall customer lifecycle. 

 

The Data Scientist defines experiments, creates machine learning models, analyses data employing advanced data techniques, discovers opportunities for using AI, and makes high-value recommendations to business leaders.  This role serves and works cross-functionally with the Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and People teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researches, shadows, and interviews Operational teams to understand business needs and processes
  • Works with business system owners to understand the flow of data in systems
  • Defines experiments resulting in ad-hoc statistical analysis or machine learning models
  • Defines and builds necessary data or machine learning models to create or enhance BI reporting, business systems, or forecasting models
  • Collects, analyzes, and visualizes quantitative and qualitative data from the Enterprise perspective using advanced methods
  • Develops, optimizes, and automates multiple enterprise forecast models, including but not limited to Churn and Customer Delight
  • Solves problems while aligning with Operations teams to solve/implement processes that enable teams to achieve their goals
  • Suggests data or AI–based solutions to processes to drive more efficiency and scalability
  • Keeps up to date with latest data science and AI trends

 

About You:

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Mid-level experience with a strong foundation in analytical roles, with a proven track record of applying data science techniques in real-world settings. 
  • You've independently led or contributed to projects involving statistical modeling, machine learning, or advanced analytics, and are comfortable working with complex datasets to drive business insights. 
  • Strategic thinking and goal prioritization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience with machine learning
  • Solid understanding of data management and relational database design
  • Project management and time management skills
  • Service-oriented mindset with cross-functional collaboration experience
  • Attention to detail and professional maturity
  • Excellent communication, active listening, and organizational skills

 

Technical Skills:

  • Statistics and forecasting methods
  • Machine learning models (supervised, unsupervised, etc.)
  • Experience with SQL
  • Proficiency in R, Python, or Scala
  • Experience with Generative AI

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base salary range for this position is $108,900 – $136,000
