The Data Engineer partners with Revenue Operations teams to source, extract, transform, and store data in support of operational and analytics needs.
This role owns and maintains the ETL processes, data warehouse, integrations, and overall data architecture and infrastructure required to enable these initiatives. The Data Engineer works cross‑functionally with BI Analysts, Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, and Customer Success Operations to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and aligned to business objectives.
About the Role
- Partners with the Business Intelligence Analysts, Operations teams, Administrative teams, and Product/Engineering teams to assess and define data needs.
- Works with business system owners to understand the flow of data in systems.
- Designs, implements, and manages appropriate data ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations.
- Builds and maintains necessary data architecture (including databases or data warehouses) to support BI initiatives.
- Monitors data infrastructure performance, ensuring constant availability and uptime.
- Researches data architecture best practices and recommends changes that may benefit Bluebeam.
- Suggests solutions to improve data integrity and processes to drive more efficiency and scalability
About You
- Mid-level in a data management role, with a minimum of 2 years in a data engineering type role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with project management
- Proficiency in enterprise data architecture
- Service-oriented mindset and strong customer focus
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Required Technical Skills:
- SQL experience (examples: PostgreSQL, T-SQL, MySQL, etc)
- Python & Pyspark experience
- ETL/ELT experience
- Data Architecture (Dimensional, Relational)
- CICD (Jenkins, Git, GitLab)
- Source Control ( Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Cloud data warehousing management experience (examples: Azure SQL, AWS Redshift, GCP Big Query, Snowflake, etc)
- API querying experience
- Data privacy and compliance experience

The base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $108,900 - $136,000
