Corporate Controller

In this role, the Corporate Controller oversees the accounting department functions to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting of the US and Australian entities. This role oversees all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Manages the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Performs account reconciliations and analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data. This role will have 3-4 direct reports and allocates tasks evenly across the team. This role is responsible for driving team performance, getting the most out of individual contributors, and supporting and working closely with the Corporate Actively participates in internal control, audit, procedures, practices, tax, compliance, and regulations for Bluebeam Group, including its international subsidiaries. This role also serves as a liaison/Point of Contact within the organization.
About the Role
- Oversee the accounting department's US and Australian activities and ensure that all major projects, month-end and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.

- Sales, GST, and income tax compliance
- General ledger review
- Fixed assets
- Cash forecast
- Banking activities
- Accounts reconciliations
- AP payment
- Prepaid amortization
- Revenue recognition
- Closing checklist
- Maintain Chart of Accounts
- Month-end accruals
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports and statements.
- Coordinate and complete audits.
- Provide supporting documents to auditor and tax advisor’s PBC list.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Safeguard financial and legal documentation.
- Hire, train and motivate accounting staff while supervising and delegating department tasks.
- Ensure compliance in accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
- Provide assistance and guidance to the subsidiary’s accounting team.
About You
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Practical experience in accounting principles, transfer pricing, and international tax and compliance.
- Experience in guiding other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct, supervise, and coach managers.
- Ability to build a high functioning team and retain talent.
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time and resources management skills.
- Demonstrate ability to think strategically, leading to recommendations combined with attention to detail implementing them collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of management, internally and externally.
- Adopt a collaborative approach, with experience influencing cross-functional teams in a complex organization to drive international growth.
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with business judgment.
- Technical accounting research and documentation skills.
- 10+ years in the accounting field and 5+ years in mid-management role.
- CPA and/or master’s degree in accounting.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $178,000 - $222,000 plus annual bonus
