About the Role:
The Associate Data Governance Specialist collaborates with BI, Operations, and Data Engineering teams to uphold data policies, lineage, and management best practices.
This role is instrumental in defining metrics, improving data quality, managing the Data Dictionary, and ensuring compliance in partnership with Information Security. Serving as a key player in data governance strategy, the specialist drives initiatives to enhance data completeness, compliance, and strategic alignment while working cross-functionally across the organization.
- Supports the organization and maintenance of metrics within the Operations Data Dictionary and Data Catalog, ensuring accurate documentation for accessibility and consistency
- Research, shadow, and interview Operational teams to understand and document metrics and KPIs
- Supports data quality assessments, profiling, and monitoring to identify inconsistencies or anomalies across domains
- Works with various teams to align governance initiatives with business needs
- Assists in developing and maintaining data lineage and impact analysis documentation.
- Diagrams of relevant data architecture and entity relationships
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations
- Develop and maintain data governance policies, frameworks, and workflows to enhance data trust and usability.
- Contribute to metadata management, data cataloging, and data lineage tracking for enterprise-wide data assets.
About You:
- 2-3 years of experience in data governance, including data management and security
- Strong written and verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to work effectively across teams
- Goal setting, prioritization, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to work across departments, maintain professional relationships, and align efforts with business goals
- Understanding of data warehousing, business intelligence, metadata management, and data cataloging tools
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and execute work efficiently with minimal oversight
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and industry-specific standards
Technical Experience:
- SQL
- Data Catalogs (like Alation, Azure Data Catalog, Collibra, Atlan, etc)
- Marketing Automation Platforms (like Marketo, Pardot, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud, MailChimp, etc)
- CRMs (like Salesforce Sales Cloud, ZoHo, Microsoft Dynamics, etc)
- ERPs (like NetSuite, Dynamics AX, Financial Force, etc)
- Service Management Platforms (like Salesforce Service Cloud, ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc)
- Licensing Management Systems
- HRMSs (like Workday, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, etc)

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base salary range for this position is $77,100 - $96,400
