The Account Manager- Public Sector manages and grows a portfolio of public sector accounts, often working with C-level executives and other key stakeholders. They also work with a dedicated list of named current Bluebeam customers to maximize their spending with Bluebeam. These are primarily Federal, State, and local government organizations. The Public Sector Account Manager partners with the other teams at Bluebeam, including but not limited to: Technical Account Management, Customer Operations, Professional Services, Technical Support, and Legal/Security, to effectively guide customers through purchases of Bluebeam products and services. The Account Manager is also responsible for renewing, upselling, and cross-selling all customers within their book of business. 

 

 

About the Role: 

  • Connect organizational or operational problems to proper solutions and offerings

  • Work directly with clients to provide value-added solutions

  • Ensure 100% of the annual quota is attained or exceeded

  • Ensure high-quality proposals and deliverables result in a high level of client satisfaction on all engagements

  • Maintain a proactive consultative approach with all customers on the assigned list

  • Be an initial Bluebeam contact point for all assigned accounts

  • Effectively negotiate value-based agreements with all customers

  • Proficiently use SFDC to record events in assigned accounts and individual key metrics

  • Accurately forecast via SFDC

  • Partner and develop professional working relationships and initiatives with other Bluebeam internal business partners

About You: 

  •  5-7+ years of experience in a full-cycle strategic sales role 

    • Government, Software, or Construction industry experience is highly preferred 

  • Proven track record of developing and sustaining long-term relationships with clients

  • Strong communication, written and verbal

  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with change

  • Experience in using Salesforce or other CRM

  • Firm understanding of all other internal software applications that allow for enhanced territory management including Microsoft Office, Salesforce, PowerBI, Slack, MS Teams etc.

  • Ability to effectively present to all levels of a business including the C-Suite

  • Work within a team environment to manage and interact with resources across multiple cross-functional teams and regions

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $105,800-$132,100
